À propos
The Hotel de ville de Mutzig is located in the center of the medieval village, on the Alsace wine route, about 20 km from Strasbourg

This building dates from 1746 and is characterized by a curious octagonal tower covered with shingles and topped with a bulbous roof. The plans were drawn by Joseph Massol, the architect of the Palais des Rohan in Strasbourg. It houses an automaton representing a grinning head opening its mouth and wagging its ears each time the clock strikes the hours and half hours.
