Vins Domaine Philippe Heitz

For several generations, Domaine Heitz has been producing wines from different grape varieties and terroirs in Molsheim. The vines, which have been grown organically since 1999, are traditionally tilled on the Bruderthal hill overlooking the town of Molsheim and part of the Alsace Wine Route. They benefit from a micro-climate sheltered from the wind and a fair share of sunshine. Respect for flora and fauna is essential to the Heitz family. Harvesting is done by hand, taking care to choose the right ripening date for the different grape varieties. The winery offers all 7 Alsace grape varieties, Grands Crus Bruderthal, crémants, late harvest wines, as well as brandies and organic grape juice. Individuals can visit the winery and taste the wines in the cellar. For groups of up to 70 people, tasting in the cellar is subject to a charge, but prior appointment is required.
