À propos
Situated on the Alsace Wine Route, the Molsheim vineyard has many wine-producing riches. Molsheim has always been famous for its vineyards. The monastic brothers of the Carthusian monasteries gave their name to this place from the 14th century.
The Bruderthal hillside is protected from wind and rain by the Vosges mountains. Situated between 225 and 300 metres above sea level on gentle south-east facing slopes, these plots offer a privileged setting for the cultivation of vines.
The Grand Cru Bruderthal de Molsheim makes it the pride of the winegrowers. It has been cited since 1316 in the wine possessions of the bishopric of Strasbourg.
In 1505, the Hospice Civil de Strasbourg owned vines there until 1963.
