In the renovated Jesuit Park there are two bronze statues. One represents Ettore BUGATTI (1881-1947) and was made in 2009 to mark the centenary of his settlement between Molsheim and Dorlisheim.
He has been able to design innovative cars in terms of both mechanical design and aesthetics. Between 1909 and 1939, he made nearly 80 different types of automobiles and filed no less than 1200 technical patents for his aeronautical, maritime and railway achievements..
The second represents the mythical "Type 35" Grand Prix car made in 2009 by François Chevallier. Launched in 1924, its bodywork is simple, elegant and efficient.
