Le Monument du Chêne de Gloria Friedmann

In the heart of the forest, a few hundred meters from the Gros Chêne site, is the Monument du Chêne, the work of the world-renowned German contemporary artist Gloria Friedmann.
At the end of a path punctuated by seven steles bearing short texts that are as many invitations to meditate on our relationship to the tree and to nature, the oak tree - black trunk shaken on a background of intense red wall -, suddenly appears "like an inferno immobilized by some kind of magic" (Paul GUERIN), a final confrontation, between death and life, to which the artist exposes us
