Ponds for our little frogs!
Around Erstein, frogs are splashing, croaking and doing nature a world of good! Thanks to the Association Nature Ried d'Erstein (ANRE), several new ponds have been created in the region. Their aim? To provide a cozy refuge for frogs, toads and other water-loving creatures? who are sorely lacking in water due to the disappearance of wetlands.
These pretty ponds were carefully dug by the Parc départemental d?Erstein, according to a well-thought-out plan provided by ANRE. The result: new little corners of paradise for amphibians? and for those curious about nature!
And there's more to come! Other ponds are planned to continue making Erstein a real playground for biodiversity.
