Chapelle Notre Dame de la Consolation de Floing

The Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolation chapel was built in 1839, as indicated by an inscription on the east wall, and was restored in 1920.The square-plan chapel is located at the crossroads of rue Charles de Gaulle and rue du stade, on a pointed plot. The structure is built of limestone rubble with a Dom-le-Mesnil ashlar chain. The interior is covered by a false dome, and the portal is preceded by a porch supported by two wooden columns; the whole is covered by a slate pavilion roof. The door features a wrought-iron grille with a single central leaf.
