Exposition : Voleur de feu

Through a dialogue between the museum?s collections and the original comic strips, the exhibition plunges visitors into the poet?s childhood and youth in Charleville. Original manuscripts, old photographs and Rimbaud family portraits shed light on the artist?s research work.Loans from La Piscine? Musée d?art et d?industrie André Diligent, the Musée de l?Histoire vivante de Montreuil and the Bibliothèque Jacques Doucet complete the collections presented. The exhibition also reveals the different stages in the making of a comic strip, from the first sketches to the final drawings. Visitors discover Damien Cuvillier?s vision and working methods through sketches, graphic research and original drawings.
