Écomusée de la Bintinais

📍 Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine · Route de Châtillon-sur-Seiche, 35200 Rennes
À propos
More than just a bucolic postcard, a visit to the Bintinais Ecomuseum means discovering a farm with a remarkable architectural heritage.
A showcase for 5 centuries of rural life, earthen dwellings, food and town/country relations.
It also preserves a herd of 19 ancient breeds from the west of France, including the Janzé black hen, the Cotentin donkey and the Nantaise cow.
More surprisingly, it's also an agronomic park with a conservatory orchard featuring apples, but also
forgotten agricultural crops (flax, hemp, buckwheat, beehives).
