À propos
Along with Rosbras, the Port du Bélon is the most popular spot in the commune. Visitors marvel at this picturesque site, dominated by the manor house built between the 15th and 19th centuries, with its breathtaking ocean views.

Le Bélon is best known as an oyster-farming center. It was here, at the end of the 19th century, that the famous Bélon plate was born. In the past, oysters were matured in open spaces at mid-tide. Today, they are placed in bags on tables. As these bags are regularly turned over, some can be seen in the riverbed.
It's also a popular port for yachtsmen. If you take the coastal path to the ocean, you'll come to the Questeland beach, which you can discover at low tide. A few hundred meters from the ocean, the ruins of Fort du Bélon stand watch over the entrance to the estuary. From the pointe de Penquernéo, a panoramic view stretches from Kerfany beach to Port-Manech beach (commune of Névez).
