LA CALE

La Cale is a very old antique store, renovated with all modern comforts, keeping the spirit of yesteryear. In the center of Loctudy, with access to stores, port, nautical port, ferry to Ile Tudy and all beaches on foot. A patio with garden furniture for 6/8 people, barbecue, plant decoration, and a large solarium balcony with 2 deckchairs on the south-facing garden side.
Inside, a brand-new, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave-grill, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and other equipment welcomes you, as does a 6/8-person dining room, a bar with an additional mini-fridge, a living room with 2 comfortable sofas and 2 armchairs, storage space, toilets, washing machine and 10kg tumble dryer, and a generous supply of crockery for excellent cooking.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a 140cm bed opens onto the solarium balcony and patio. A 2nd bedroom, with a 140cm bed and bunk beds, opens onto the library on the street side. A bathroom features a large shower, washbasin and toilet. A secure staircase gives access to the 3rd floor, especially designed for children, with 2 single beds and a 3rd extra bed.
All beds can be made up on arrival, with our household linen; this is a non-compulsory paying option. Our 4-legged friends are welcome.
For your comfort, children's games are available, as well as a cot, high chair, hanging chair, baby bath and playpen (new or very good condition). On arrival, a stock of 1st necessity products awaits you (soap, cleaning products, spices, coffee, etc.) as well as a welcome pack. Someone will be on hand to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
La Cale is an old antique store, the oldest house on the street. We took great pleasure in renovating it, leaving it with its charm, its parquet floors, and furnishing it in the spirit that is dear to us, local recuperation and vintage renovation. The furniture was revisited by "L'Atelier de Chipote", who also humorously signed some of the paintings on the wall.
The crockery is old, plentiful and always sufficient for the dishwasher's rounds. We simply ask our guests to replace any broken items. Likewise, we would be grateful if you could replace anything that has been emptied (washing-up liquid, oil, spices, etc.), so that everyone can enjoy the same level of comfort on arrival.
Around the house, you can reach the fishing port in 3 minutes, the seaport in 5 minutes, and the Perdrix lighthouse in 3 minutes... The house is centrally located for shopping. Meals can be eaten in or taken away from the nearby crêperies, pizzerias, restaurants, wine bars, etc...
A shaded parking lot awaits you 50 m from the house.
Loctudy is a pretty, typical town, with many well-known sites. The well-stocked market is just a 2-minute walk away, every Tuesday. The Pont L'abbé market, particularly well known for its size, is a 10-minute drive away every Thursday. The church, opposite the market square, is a site where you'll find Viking relics, a famous organ and free concerts every Tuesday morning during the market. Don't hesitate to stop by the canning factory museum!
A ferry, at the foot of the nautical port, will take you to Ile Tudy every 20 minutes, for a very modest round-trip fare.
The Langoz beach (11 minutes' walk) has a nautical center offering a variety of courses and regattas.
The tourist office will be happy to give you a list of all the festivities on offer during the season, with numerous evening concerts almost every day.
