Les Ateliers present the exhibition "les Bretagnes" by Coco de Lilia :
They used to be called "les Bretagnes", the linen fabrics that made up the golden age of our region from the 16th to the 18th century. Since 2020, Breton linen has been reborn!
The white just enhances the natural linen fabric, all its nuances, its raw yet soft side. This simple marriage gives our imagination a new look at the emblematic and poetic places of Finistère.
Lilia is my den from which I paint, as if it were a matter of course, this land that I love so much.
An exhibition that echoes the heritage of Landerneau, highlighting linen, the central medium of these paintings.
