À propos
AlGhar—which means “laurel” in Arabic—brings together ethereal songs infused with soul, poetry, and music from around the world.
Originally a solo project featuring bass, a looper, and the vocals of singer Laurène Nour Pierre-Magnani, AlGhar has transformed into a duo with drummer and singer Neige Arnaud.
Written in several languages, mostly in French, the lyrics reveal a world that is tender, romantic, and marked by questions of identity.
An intimate and powerful performance—a true favorite!
Jazz-soul concert. Suitable for all ages.
