In terms of tonnage, Concarneau is France's 10th fresh fishing port and Europe's leading tuna port. The town is concentrated around the Ville Close and the port. The latter occupies the bottom of a natural harbour, extended by the river Moros and unfolds more than a kilometre of quays.
