The Vieilles Coques de Concarneau event is the oldest gathering of "old boats" in France, dedicated to maritime heritage. Since 1975, a host of enthusiasts have been meeting in the inner harbour, hoisting their sails and parading around the bay. Around forty old rigs come together to put on a great show. Concarneau?s inner harbor will be alive with sails and wooden hulls.
This year, the Vieilles Coques de Concarneau celebrates its fiftieth anniversary.
ON THE WATER
From the smallest at just five meters to the most imposing at twenty-four meters, historic monuments and boats of heritage interest, all these boats will leave the harbor under sail
to parade around the bay. A spectacle not to be missed.
