The Brest roadstead is a bay connected to the Iroise Sea by a 1.8 km wide passage called the Brest Narrows (sheltered from storms and virtually closed off by the Roscanvel peninsula).
The Brest roadstead is one of the largest in the world, covering an area of 180 km² larger than that of Paris.
It's a fantastic playground for sailing enthusiasts: small or large sailboats, kayaks, kite surfing, stand-up paddling, diving? There's something for everyone!
You can also discover it on foot, with 350 km of coastline, peaks and belvederes offering a wide range of panoramic views, creeks and beaches for swimming.
To discover: the Plougastel peninsula, the Logonna peninsula, the Landévennec peninsula, the Île Longue peninsula, the Roscanvel peninsula and the beautiful points: du Portzic, de l'Armorique, du Bindy, de Poulmic, des Espagnols...
