📍 Océanopolis, 29200 Brest
À propos
A new project at Océanolab:
Researchers from the "ALCID (Algae, Climat, Invasives, Diversité)" project are settling down at Océanolab to answer the following question: "How will Breton algae, and the living organisms that depend on them, react to climate change?
The scientists' aim is to understand how climate change, with its rise in seawater temperature, will affect Brittany's seaweed beds. They are also studying the impact of the presence of an exotic species, such as sargassum, in this context.
12 basins featuring 7 different species of algae will be on display in this unique laboratory.
Practical information:
Open every day during school vacations, and on Wednesdays, weekends and public holidays outside school vacations.
