Zone

Three paper creatures move through a shifting space, a world where everything seems to be constantly reconfiguring itself. Whether human beings or entities from the dawn of time, these mysterious characters vibrate, interact, and—like their universe—are subject to metamorphoses. Through costumes made of recycled newspaper, they shape fragile, shifting landscapes—a material that becomes, in turn, skin, refuge, trace, or territory. As they undergo these transformations, their identities take shape, and the world around them unravels, rebuilds itself, and reinvents itself.

A poetic mirror of our societies, ZONE explores the connections between human beings and their environment, the traces we leave behind—visible or invisible—and the way in which every existence contributes to transforming the world. Between appearance and disappearance, the trio crafts a phantasmagorical visual language in which landscapes emerge, crack, and are reborn, sparking a sensitive reflection on our origins, our living environments, and our future.
