À propos
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Association des Potiers Créateurs de Puisaye (APCP) at the Treigny Convent, a showcase for contemporary ceramics. The building was renovated in 2004 by Treigny town council on behalf of the Association, and opened to the public in 2006. On this occasion, the 2026 season will be punctuated by specific activities, as well as the 50th anniversary of the EMA-CNIFOP, located in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, with which we will be associated.
This exhibition will highlight the passing on of skills, the relationship between teacher and pupil and, in its own way, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of the region's ceramics school, the EMA-CNIFOP in St-Amand-en-Puisaye. This is a school with which we have regular links.
Each room will present the work of a master potter who taught at the EMA-CNIFOP in relation to the work of another ceramist who was one of his or her students.
The master-student duos, 8 guests:
Patrick Buté and Quentin Baumlin,
Nani Champy and Juan Jaimes Iwasaki,
Nathalie Domingo and Alexandra Cassignol,
Anne Foch and Sophie Mary.
The exhibition of the association's ceramists will be on the ground floor.
Opening on Saturday 4 April: a talk at 5pm by Dominique Durin, President of EMA-CNIFOP, who will present the training centre and the 50th anniversary events, followed by a drinks reception at 6pm.
