À propos
Jean Marie ECAY and his quartet - bebop rock with a vengeance! Jean Marie ECAY, a French guitarist of Basque origin, is a maestro of the strings who has often toured with jazz and world music legends: Billy COBHAM (10 years), Didier LOCKWOOD, Claude NOUGARO (6 years), Randy BRECKER, Michel LEGRAND, and even Joan BAEZ... no less. His secret? A blend of impeccable technique, brain-bending grooves and a healthy dose of mischief that makes even the most serious musicians smile. After a career spanning over 40 years, hundreds of albums and stages all over the world, Jean Marie has decided to form her own quartet to share her energy and her musical universe, which is refined, explosive and contagious.
And here's the dream team arriving at the Terrasses du Bel Air: Jean Marie ECAY, guitar and leader, capable of making your strings and soul vibrate. Christophe CRAVERO, piano and violin, creator of moods and thrills, with Didier Lockwood, Billy Cobham, Thomas Fersen, Sanseverino and Renan Luce. Yoann SCHMIDT- drums, rhythmic driving force behind projects by François Chassagnite, Ray Gomez (Stanley Clarke, Steps Ahead), or Bobby Porcelli (Tito Puente, Thelonious Monk Jr.), Sylvain Luc, David Reinhardt, Vincent Peirani. And the bassist... surprise! Who will it be? It's a mystery, but he'll get you moving too!
Finally, guitarists, to your strings!
