Folies douces

In the midst of gentle madness, *La Clef des planches* draws us into a theatrical cartoon inspired by the work of the brilliant Courteline.

A freeloader caught in the middle of a marital row, a good-natured police inspector who discourages complainants, a ghost employee hoping for a pay rise… As tender as he is biting, Courteline is unrivalled when it comes to satirising our myriad foibles. Following in his footsteps, La Clef des planches paints a colourful picture where the illustrated sets spring to life at the click of a button. A devilishly popular style, brimming with rhythm and whimsy at every turn… ‘A poet condemned to make people laugh’, Courteline is far from finished serving our sentences!
