Phèdre !

A little gem of humour, erudition and inventiveness, this *“Phèdre!”* certainly deserves its exclamation mark. In this deeply felt production, presented as a (mock) lecture on Racine’s masterpiece, the tragedy is transformed into a zany monologue! Alone on stage, the actor Romain Daroles, in a stunning performance, reveals his passion for the thwarted love affair between the wife of the King of Athens and her stepson Hippolytus.

Armed with a book and a table, he becomes the ideal guide, the one who makes you want to want, and who inspires a love of language and a desire to (re)immerse yourself in this masterpiece.
