Homo Deus

In the near future, humanity lives under the control of omnipresent artificial intelligence. Every citizen is monitored, rated and geolocated in real time. Faced with this controlled society, two opposing visions emerge: those who resist and those who accept the advent of Homo Deus, a human enhanced by technology.

Léa, a rebellious artist, uses digital tools to fight the system, whilst remaining dependent on this technology herself. Her brother Elliot, who is paraplegic, dreams of immortality and superhuman abilities through AI. Caught between them, Marius, leader of the resistance, fights to preserve what remains of humanity.

Blending electro-rap music, puppetry and digital projections, ‘Homo Deus’ explores our relationship with technology, freedom and the future of humanity.
