Delphine Bucher, artist-engraver, is exhibiting her work at the Belfort university library. Based in Franche-Comté, she comes from the underground and fanzine scene and has been practising linocut since 2016.
Inspired by her many travels and inspired by the literature of wide open spaces, she uses her gouge to convey the poetry of the landscapes she has crossed, between reality and the wanderings of the imagination. An observer of solitude, she creates black and raw prints, full of contrast and imbued with melancholy.
From linocuts and travel journals to fanzines and micro-publishing, this exhibition takes visitors on an immersive journey through the artist's graphic universe.
It's a gentle invitation to hit the road, contemplate the silence and lose yourself in the infinity of her inner landscapes.
