Visite guidée "Le monde rural dans l'objectif"

The guided tour of the exhibition explores how painters and photographers depicted rural life throughout the 20th century. The evolution of representations of rural life is highlighted through a unique itinerary combining paintings, photographs and ethnographic documents. Designated an ‘Exhibition of National Interest’ and part of the ‘Bicentenary of Photography’, the exhibition also examines the place of this heritage in contemporary art, fostering a thoughtful dialogue between past and present. At the end of the tour, the Friends of the Museums of Mâcon will share their experiences and perspectives on the region, as part of World Friends of Museums Day.
