Régates internationales de Canoë-kayak

On the last weekend in June, Decize should once again be vibrating to the rhythm of the canoe paddles cutting through the water of the Loire basin before crossing the finish line opposite the Pointe des Halles site. The local club is getting ready to host the 56th Régates Internationales de Canoë with dignity, in a spirit that is not only sporting but also festive.

Between 40 and 50 clubs compete for the various trophies up for grabs each year.

The Espérance Canoë de Decize Saint-Léger-des-Vignes and its many volunteers devote their time, skills and energy to organising this event.

Opening hours in 2025 (opening hours in 2026 have not yet been announced)
Saturday: 9am-6pm, with the Australian-style races starting at 8pm
Sunday: 9am-4pm
