A little history
Inaugurated in 1921, the Nyon-Saint-Cergue-Morez metric railway line linked Nyon and Morez. Until 1958, it provided an easy way to cross the border. Today, the line stops at La Cure, on the Swiss side of the border - a charming vestige of a unique cross-border railway past.
A panoramic getaway all year round
The train runs every day, summer and winter, departing every hour. On board, enjoy a contemplative journey to Nyon and explore its old town, museums and narrow streets full of character.
A day pass allows you to hop on and off at your leisure at the stops in La Givrine, Saint-Cergue or Arzier to explore the famous Toblerones trail.

The Les Rousses Tourist Offices offer :
Combined train + boat packages La Cure-Nyon-Yvoire (return) - please note that crossings are more limited in winter.
Other tickets are available directly from the ticket machine at La Cure station.
During the tourist season, you can easily reach La Cure by Skibus (depending on the season).
Don't forget to take an identity document with you when you go through customs, and don't forget that the currency in Switzerland is the Swiss franc, so traffic rules are slightly different.
