Festival latinocorazón

The 17th edition of the “Latino Corazón” festival will take place from 14 to 21 November 2026 in partnership with Les2scenes and Marie and Louis Pasteur University, featuring a promotional street parade through the town with Batu’ Caem on Saturday 14.

The festival also includes an exhibition at the ASEP community centre centred on a* “Codex of Time”, featuring contributions from several members of Latinoamericalli, radio programmes, and, primarily, film screenings and meetings with figures from Ibero-American culture at the Petit Kursaal in Besançon.

This year we will be screening eight recent or forthcoming Latin American films, such as *El deshielo* (The Thaw), the Chilean film by Manuela Marteli. The Latino Corazón festival continues on the 21st at the Salle Colard with an introduction to Latin dances and a mini buffet. The festival also features a closing show on the 21st, which attracts an enthusiastic audience every year with locally and internationally renowned artists, including:

First act: “Roda Guarana”, a Besançon-based instrumental and vocal group specialising in Brazilian music (bossa nova, jazz and samba); and second act: “Flamenco Fusion” – it’s a Latin party!

“Based in Nancy, the Minera company fosters the connections that arise spontaneously through flamenco. This ensemble was specially conceived for the Latino Corazón festival, centred around the show *Caravela*, at the crossroads of Latin music and flamenco tablao.”
