La Table de la Censes des possibles

We are Violaine and Olivier. We have recently moved from Lille to Burgundy to live here whilst being mindful of environmental issues. To this end, we have set up La Cense des Possibles in an 18th-century farmhouse in the heart of the village of Darcey. It is a venue offering eco-friendly activities and accommodation.
Our table d’hôte is open every day for lunch and dinner, by reservation only. We offer a single menu that changes with the seasons.
We can also host private events on request.

Violaine is our head chef; she enhances her menus with fruit, vegetables and wild herbs from our garden and runs cookery classes.
We prioritise healthy, gourmet cuisine. We prioritise partnerships with local producers.
We place great importance on social interaction, so La Table de la Cense is a place where people come together in a friendly atmosphere to share a meal. It’s an opportunity to discover our venue and enjoy a pleasant time with family, friends or colleagues.
La Cense des Possibles is also a place of learning that fosters social connections. You can take part in these activities alongside other people living in the region.

An excellent way to learn by doing alongside others and to move towards a more frugal, fulfilling, local lifestyle that respects both our natural and human environment. At the end of each course, you’ll leave with tools and methods you can put into practice at home, whether you live in town or the countryside.
